1 cup shortening 1 cup sugar 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup peanut butter 2 eggs, beaten 1 3/4 cups flour 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. soda 1 cup rolled oats (slow cooking type)
Cream shortening, sugars and peanut butter. Add beaten eggs. Mix flour, salt, and soda together and add. Work in oats. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes. Makes a large batch.
