6 oz. softened cream cheese 1/2 cups butter 1/2 cups flour 2 lb. minced mushrooms 1 large minced onion 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. thyme 2 Tbsp. flour 1/4 cup sour cream 1 beaten egg
Beat together the cream cheese and butter. Blend in flour. Chill one hour. Fry minced mushrooms and onion in 3 Tbsp. butter until tender. Stir in salt, thyme, 2 Tbsp. flour and sour cream. Roll out dough and cut into 3-inch circles. Place 1 Tbsp. of mixture on one side, brush edge with egg, fold and seal. Prick top. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, brush with egg. Bake for 12 min. at 400F.
Makes about 60 appetizers.
