2/3 cup brown sugar 1 rounded cup pumpkin, cooked or canned 1 tsp. salt 2 eggs 1 tall can evaporated milk 4 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. ginger 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1/3 cup boiling water 1 9"" unbaked pie shell
Combine brown sugar, pumpkin, salt and eggs. Mix well. Mix spices together and add water. Stir into pumpkin mixture and blend well. Gradually add evaporated milk. Pour into pie shell and bake at 400 for 40 minutes. If using a glass pan, bake at 375 for 55 minutes.
