Bread Pudding

Ingredients

4 slices bread, cubed
2 or 3 eggs
3 1/2 c. hot milk
1/3 c. sugar 
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla 
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Method

(Mom used to serve this warm with jam on top.) Pile bread cubes in a greased baking dish and pour remaining ingredients over it. Let stand 30 min. Place in shallow pan of hot water, cover and bake 30 min. at 325. Uncover and bake 30 min. more.
